While you play
The accessibility options, what each setting actually does, and where your save lives.
This section covers the parts of SilkWard that sit around the puzzles: how the game stays playable for everyone, what each setting does and where your save lives.
Accessibility is described as a handful of decisions inside the design: colour never carries information alone, the preview is also given in text, animation can be reduced, touch targets are at least 44 pixels tall, the layout suits one-handed play, and there is no timer anywhere in the game. Settings goes through the menu one item at a time, each doing exactly one thing. Offline and saves explains that the game asks for no account, has no server and collects nothing about you, and that your save is a sequence of moves kept on your device, which you can export and import.
Clearing site data deletes the save, so export first if you care about it.
Accessibility
Threat information is never colour alone, animation can be switched off, and the layout is built for one hand.
Settings
Language, reduced motion, threat highlight, move preview, rule cards, text size, volumes, haptics and save transfer.
Offline and saves
After the first load the game never touches the network, collects nothing, and keeps your save on your device alone.
