Basics
What the game is, how a session moves forward, and why no mistake is permanent.
SilkWard is a turn-based isometric puzzle game set on the Silk Road. No reflexes are needed, there are no timers, and not a single moment where you have to hurry; every level is a small diorama that fits on one screen.
The pages here start with what the game is and why being caught is a state rather than a penalty: undo is unlimited and never costs a star. They go on to show how to read the screen, where the whole board is always visible, and end with a glossary that gives each term a one-line definition and points to the page that explains it in full.
If you are new, read the first two pages in order; the glossary is for looking things up.
What is SilkWard?
A turn-based isometric puzzle: no reflexes, no timers — the tension comes from the board itself.
There is no losing
Getting caught is a state, not a penalty screen; undo is unlimited and never costs you a star.
Reading the screen
The diorama takes three quarters of the screen, the bottom bar the rest. No scrolling, no zooming — the whole board is always visible.
